About Made

Two Handmade Boutiques in the Heart of Tulsa

Made: The Indie Emporium Shop | Tulsa Handmade Boutiques

Made is the retail space started by the founders and organizers of Indie Emporium, Tulsa’s first indie craft show started in 2007.

We started the shop as a pop up shop in late 2011 and loved being shopkeeps so much that we just never closed.  We moved into our permanent space in the Deco District (501 South Boston) in January 2012 and opened a second location in the Pearl District (1317 East 6th Street) in December 2012.  The shops carry handmade goods from over 80 artists and makers. Most of our artists have been vendors at Indie Emporium, or are the fine folks we’ve met on our travels to indie craft shows across the nation.

In addition to offering handmade & vintage goods, MADE hosts craft & design classes and workshops, as well as a variety of community projects and events in our attached studio, workshop, and coworking space, The Workshop.

You can catch our DIY segment on Good Day Tulsa  on KTUL on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month!  Follow us on facebook for links to the DIY projects and makers who appear on the show.

Support Handmade

When you shop at made, you’re supporting handmade. Our items come from 77 vendors throughout the world, most of whom have come to Tulsa as vendors at Indie Emporium. From tea towels, to apparel, jewelry and art, we’ve got something for everyone.

What People Are Saying About Our Classes

  • As a perpetual dreamer (and procrastinator) the Altered Card Deck Workshop at The Workshop provided a safe space as well as someone giving me tangible techniques to use to create the art I so often think about making. Jessica Brogan’s work is empowering and inspiring and the things I learned are skills I can apply in my own personal creative practice. I’d recommend their classes to anyone!
