San Uriel Retablo – Patron of Poets

About this piece

Saint Uriel Retablo Patron of Poets

Uriel is known in the Christian, Muslim, and mystical Jewish faiths. He is an instructing angel, an interpreter of prophecies, an expression of the Divine Fire descending from God, and identified with poetry and creative insight.

"Light of God's Face, guardian of the Earth and Humankind, thank you for bringing the touch of Scared Fire. Your flame is prophesy, vision, the poetry of truth. Yours is the summer, and the north, and the mystery of the deep earth. Set my creative spark ablaze that my word and pen bring light to beings and our Age and all the spirit seedlings pushing toward the sun."
